Some brides like to and will, take care of all the pre-wedding day preparations and all they want is for someone to help in the run up to the big day to assist with finalising plans or simply, someone to attend on the day to make sure everything goes to plan and the choreography of each segment of the day falls into place, without them having to oversee everything. Allowing the bride and the wedding party to relax and enjoy the day
Wedding Coordination can take different forms and very much depends on how much coordination you would like prior to and on the day.
If you would just like someone to ensure that your wedding day runs smoothly then Day of Coordination is a great option.
Pre Wedding – we will look over the contracts for all of your vendors and contact them approximately one week prior to the wedding to introduce ourselves and exchange contact details.
A detailed timeline is essential on your wedding day and I will compile this with you to ensure photographers, music, wedding party arrivals/duties, food and all additional activities are incorporated.
Rehearsals are a must for a wedding, regardless of its size and I am happy to coordinate this for you, ensuring all those involved in the wedding party attend the wedding rehearsal. This is generally your last chance to hammer out all the scheduling details before the big day, share the timeline and ensure everyone is on the same page.
On the day of the wedding, I will arrive at the venue early enough to supervise and liaise with all vendor set-up and answer any questions that may arise and ensure all parties are aware of when each activity will happen (wedding party entrance, first dance, cake cutting etc).
When the time for your ceremony arrives, I will implement the timeline ensuring the wedding party fulfil their responsibilities and guests are treated properly.
Crucially, I will coordinate guests at the end of the ceremony, ensuring guests are ushered to the reception area and the wedding party are in the appropriate place for photographs whilst ensuring catering is running to plan.
At the end of your wedding, I will ensure that any rented items e.g. flower arrangements, decorations are secured until they can be collected. I can also help you agree with your venue how your personal property and wedding gifts can be secured until they can be collected. Unfortunately, I am unable to take responsibility for personally securing your personal property and wedding gifts.
