Many people may have detailed in their Will or pre-plan funeral document what they wish to happen with their ashes once they are cremated, others may leave no instruction.
Either way, people do different things with their loved one’s ashes. They scatter them, bury them or often they keep them close beside them at home.
Scattering of ashes is usually a private affair but you can choose who you have there if it is not specified elsewhere. Where you scatter ashes is up to you and you should bear in mind that some permissions may be required depending on where you decide to do this.
Our celebrant can help you prepare a ceremony fully reflective of the life of the person, with special memories, perhaps a song or poem and leave you all with the feeling that you have been part of something that will comfort you in your sorrow and loss.
